Hawaii
We just returned from a wonderful trip to the Westin in Maui. We took the kids with us and all five of us had an amazing time. Then again, how could you not have a great time in Hawaii? Here is a picture of the pools that we took from our balcony. Austin loved going down the huge waterslide!
Austin's favorite part of the trip was going boogie boarding. Ryan took him everyday and told me that it was best that I not be there because I would have freaked out with how many wipeouts Austin had. He probably was right! This definitely was the highlight of the trip for Austin.
Kylie's favorite part of the trip was collecting beautiful flowers. By the end of the trip, Colton was collecting flowers as well which I don't think Ryan really cared for!
Colton's favorite part of the trip was getting snowcones with his dad and brother. Here is an after picture of the boys with their snowcone colored tongues.
Here are some other fun pictures from our trip....
Nature Hike
Kylie and Colton went on a nature hike with Kylie's preschool class. Kylie had a great time with her friends looking for pretty shells.
Colton had a lot of fun playing in the water.....until he lost his balance and fell right on his tushy in the water. Here is a classic picture after he fell in with his pouty lip. He wasn't sure if he should laugh or cry after falling. The rest of us were definitely laughing!

Sibling Fun
There is no doubt how much Colton looks up to his big brother. He loves to follow Austin around the house, has sword fights with him and even tries to wrestle with him. Austin is so sweet with him and lets Colton think he wins every time. Occasionally, Kylie tries to get in with the wrestling as well.

Easter in Mammoth
We had another amazing trip to Mammoth. We went up with Papa, Grandma Debbi, Gina, Garrett, Great Grandma Jean and Great Grandpa Frank. We all had a great time going skiing, sleding, hot tubbing, snowball fights, dying easter eggs and most important lots and lots of hot chocolate!
The boys got to escape for one of the days and went golfing in Bishop.
After lots of practicing, Kylie finally learned how to ski on her own making turns with her snowplow! She was so proud of herself and couldn't wait to show her big brother what a big girl she was now.
The kids were really upset when it was time to leave and Austin asked if we could move and live in Mammoth forever.

Cute moments of Ryan and the kids
Do these kids have the best dad in the world or what?!
Colton runs around the house all the time yelling "dada, dada, dada!" when Ryan is away on a business trip.
Who needs professional pedicures when you have a dad that can do it?!
Austin can always count on dad to find the biggest jump to go sledding off of!

Kylie's Princess Birthday Party
Kylie had a princess tea party for her birthday. Our two neighbors came over to help get all of the girls dressed in their princess dresses, make princess wands, put on their make-up and even served them lunch at their tea party!
Kylie decided at the end of the party to have a marching band with her being the lead singer...what a shocker!
I had to put in a picture of the cupcakes that I made myself for Kylie's birthday. It's not very often that I make something that I can be proud of! I definitely did not get the artistic/creative genes!!!
